Physiotherapy
The core of our service, experiened in the assessment and diagnosis of new and old injuries, long term conditions and management of post operative rehab from joint replacements through to complex multi- ligament and trauma repairs.
Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling
This is a western approach using acupuncture needles as an adjunct to physiotherapy sessions, combining with other treatments such as massage and exercises to aid recover and reduce pain and inflammation.
Sports Massage & Trigger point release
This can be a standalone treatment for regular maintenance and post work out recover or used in combination of other treatments to create a combined treatment plan to aid injury and post op recovery.
Kinesio and Rigid Taping
This can be used to support muscles, reducing injury risk whilst allowing you to train them for long term management. It can also be used around joints and ligaments to reduce the risk of ongoing injury.
Intra Articular (into the joint) for osteoarthritis it helps with the lubrication of the joint with studies finding an average improvement of symptoms for 6 months even though there are no active painkilling ingredients within Ostenil.
Corticosteroid/Steroid Injections
For intra Articular, Tendonitis and Bursitis. This can be used for osteoarthritis, long term injuries and repetitive strain injuries. Unlike Ostinel these injections act as pain killers due to the anti-inflammatory properties of steroids. These Require a Private Prescription which we can organise for you so all you need to do is collect it for the injection.
